| Requirement of Yellow Fever Vaccination |

Authorities in Sri Lanka have introduced a new Surveillance at the Bandaranayake International Airport (BIA), Katunayake, Colombo to prevent the risk of Yellow fever infection entering Sri Lanka. Accordingly, it is mandatory that a valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is produced by all passengers over 01 (one) year of age at the BIA, who during 9 days prior to entry into Sri Lanka have been to, or on transit of any African or South American countries mentioned below: African countries (31) Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Togo, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Mauritania and Democratic Republic of Congo. South American countries (10) Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Panama, Peru, Suriname, Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago. |
